ZOOMBOLA - Tambola on Zoom

Jito Ladies Wing Kolkata, under JITO Connect had organised Zoombola - Tambola on Zoom on
31st May, 2021 from 6:30 PM onwards.

The event was started with the invocation of the Navkar Mahamantra in the presence of JITO Ladies Wing Chairperson Sarita Saraogi, JITO Ladies Wing Secretary Sonam Bagrecha, JLW Sports Committee Convenor, JLW Sports Committe Co-Convenor Ritu Hirawat and all the other dignitaries of JITO Ladies Wing.

The main idea for this event was to raise funds for the COVID-19 crisis.

The event was successfully managed and hosted by Garima Raijada and Meghna Jain. A digital platform was used to raise the funds and also for the prize distribution.

60% of the fund was donated to help the people who had suffered during this pandemic. The prize
winners of this event also contributed their funds for this noble cause. Around 90+ participants had joined & enjoyed this virtual event. They whole heartedly contributed too.

The programme concluded on a good note with lots of positive feedback and the requests for more such thrilling events in the near future. At the end, Sonam Bagrecha gave the vote of Thanks to all the dignitaries, co-ordinators and the participants. The programme was followed with singing of the National Anthem.

Donation of 3 Oxygen Cylinders

On the 17th of May, 2021, under Jito Seva, the Jito Kolkata chapter came forward to donate 3 oxygen cylinders.

On the wake of the oxygen scarcity faced pan India, due to the surge in Covid cases, three Jito members joined hands to make the mission "Save Lives", a success.

 Archana Soni, Chitra Mookim & Sunita Mehta were the angels of mercy, and Jito Kolkata chapter is thankful to them for their selfless endeavour.

Special thanks to chairman Rajesh Bhutoria, chief secretary Pankaj Kankaria & secretaries Bhaven Kamdar & Ashok Bengani, for the seamless execution of the process. Jito kolkata acknowledges the support extended by the donors to save lives during the difficult times. Your goodwill gesture has spread smiles among the needy families.

Event - How to deal with Income Tax Raid

HOW TO FACE INCOME TAX SEARCH/RAID - CONDUCTED BY NARAYAN JAIN

JITO KOLKATA LADIES WING had presented under Project Manzile, a virtual seminar "How to face Income Tax Search" on Wednesday, 12th May, 2021 from 3:30 PM onwards.

The event was started with the divine Navkar Mahamantra, in the presence of JITO KOLKATA Chairman Rajesh Bhutoria, JITO Kolkata Ladies Wing Chairperson Sarita Saraogi, JITO Kolkata Ladies Wing Chief Secretary Sonam Bagrecha, JITO Kolkata Ladies Wing Project Team Shashi Duggar.

CA Sonu Jain & JLW Member Nisha Jain, were also present during the seminar. Sarita Saraogi  gave the welcome speech and greeted everyone.

CA Sonu Jain invited the chief guest for the event, Mr. C.M. Bachchawat, IAS(Retd), Hon'ble Member, WB Taxation Tribunal and the speaker of the day Mr. Narayan Jain, Advocate & Tax Consultant.

Mr. Narayan Jain gave advices on what ladies should do in case the Income tax officials raid their homes, when the male members of the family were not present. He also gave some tips on what to avoid while purchasing or making of new jewelleries. He adviced upon ways to explain to the officials when Cash, Jewellery, Silver Items, or any other Valuables or documents were recovered during the search. How to deal with the laptop/computer files, documents, valuable papers, etc. every year, to avoid such raids in future, was also discussed.

This knowledgeable seminar gave an insight to all the ladies on what to expect & what to do, upon occurance of such incidents. A round of Q/As was conducted by Shashi Dugar for the participants.

M.S. Rao, National President of All India Tax Practitioners, S.R. Wadhwa ,R.D. Kakda, Tamal Ghosh, K.S. Adhikari, Solicitor R.L. Auddy and K.L. Bathiya, Jagat Vaid also attended the seminar.

Around 280+ participants attended the seminar over Zoom and Facebook. The webinar was also published by Prabhat Khabar, Vishwamitra, Rajasthan Patrika, Chhapte Chhapte, Samagya & others.

To conclude, Nisha Jain gave the Vote of Thanks to all the dignitaries, the speakers and to the audience. The seminar, thereafter ended successfully with the National Anthem.

Event - Virtual Stepathon

VIRTUAL STEPATHON 2021 and Award ceremony Event by JITO Kolkata Ladies Wing

JITO LADIES WING organised VIRTUAL STEPATHON (MANZILE 2) on International Women's Day Week which was held from 6th - 8th of March 2021. It was a three days and nights Stepathon . Stepathon event incorporates nutrition and mental health. The event promotes physical fitness because EVERY STEP COUNTS. It was a tremendous success and around 350 women from all Jain communities and PAN India and out of India, took part in it. The event started in the presence of JLW Chairperson Sarita Saraogi and JLW Chief Secretary Sonam Bagrecha. Dr. Pukhraj Sethia ,Convenor and Shashi Jain, Co - Convenor were also present during the event.

The motive was to inspire more ladies to take care of their physical fitness and increase the bonding and teamwork between them. Participants were divided into 35 Groups for better motivation and to continue to do well. It also helped the participants bring about positive, sustainable and behavioural changes. Videos given by professional yoga teachers and informational videos from a professional dietician were shared during the event. Zumba classes were also held to motivate everyone. Health and fitness tips were also given in the stepathon group. Participants' performance and enthusiasm gradually progressed each day. We gave out 30 prizes each day. The star winners proved that the sky is the limit, if one puts the mind into it.

The award ceremony was held on 12th March, 2021 at Ballygunj Haldirams Banquet Hall.  JITO Kolkata Chairman Rajesh Bhutoria, JITO Secretary Bhaven Kamdar, JLW Chairperson Sarita  Saraogi, JLW Chief Secretary Sonam Bagrecha, JYW Chairman Rishabh Nahata were also present. Our Chief Guest for the award ceremony, Kalpa Jain, a Walkathon medallist was honoured by our JITO Chairman. Certificates were provided to all the participants who participated for all the 3 days. Trophies and certificates were awarded for the titles of highest score award. Around 100 people were present for the event. The ceremony was then followed by an energetic and powerful Zumba session by Sangvi, for half an hour. It was an interactive event which made this Women's day week, a super successful celebration. The programme concluded with a High-tea party.

Event - Jo Dikhta Hain Woh Bikta Hain

JBN- JO DIKHTA HAI WOH BIKTA HAI - BY RUCHHITA KAZARIA

JITO Ladies Wing under Project Swayam and with JITO Business Network, presented an informative virtual webinar - JO DIKHTA HAI WO BIKTA HAI. This was conducted on Zoom, on the 7th of May, 2021.

The session was attended by JITO Apex Ladies Wing Vice-Chairperson Minal Khona, JITO Apex Ladies Wing Secretary Sheetal Dugar, Kolkata Ladies Wing Chairperson Sarita Saraogi, Kolkata Ladies Wing Chief Secretary Sonam Bagrecha, Kolkata Ladies Wing Vice Chairperson Sushama Jain.

87 enthusiastic working women from various fields, participated in the event, where they got the opportunity to gather relevant information about branding, packaging and logo designing for their products / services.

Miss RUCHHITA KAZARIA, a well-established branding and communication consultant was the key speaker. She spoke about the nitty gritties of the subject and guided the viewers on cost effective methods of promoting their brand identities. It was interactive & an enriching session for all the participants.

The final event of the programme was an open house question and answer round following which, Sushma Jain and Shikha Munot made the announcement of the next upcoming programme. Lastly, they thanked all the dignitaries and the audience. The event came to a conclusion, with the singing of the National Anthem.
