Maintaining Cordial Relations within Family - Challenges and Solutions
This important interactive event, which is always relevant for all individuals, took place on 18th December 2021, via Zoom.
It was an endeavour of Jito Ladies Wing, with Jito Professional Forum, under the project "Manzile". The programme was conducted under the guidance of convener CA Sonu Jain & co-convener Shashi Jain Dugar.
Chief guest Mr. Pradip Mishra and the speakers Adv. Narayan Jain a social activist, Advocate & Tax Consultant. And Adv. Manju Agarwal – Advocate and member of Bar Library club & Tax Bar Association, High Court Kolkata conducted the session.
Around 70+ active participants were present.
Social activist, Narayan Jain talked about situations that can lead to divorce. He had also elaborated on the various causes of Breaking relations and the common disputes that arise among the members of a family.
Manju Agarwal also shared her views on husband wife relations & legal actions that can be taken in case of any exgiency. She shared some solutions which could help the partners and their families to understand each other better.
The take away from the programme were:
1. What are the barriers in building a healthy relationship in a family?
2. Why is it important to build positive relationships?
3. How to maintain a strong relationship with family.
Event - Diamonds Are Forever

Diamonds are Forever - Jewellery Workshop
This was a Workshop programme conducted by Jito Ladies Wing, with Jito centre of excellence, under the project "Manzile". It was with the guidance of Suraj Bardia, project convener.
Mr Siddharthaa Sawansukha, the founder SIG & MD of Sawansukha Jewellers, & Mrs Niki Sawansukha, principle / Visionary SIG (Sawansukha Intsitute of Gemology), explained the history of diamonds. The different types, shapes and cuts of diamonds, internal exclusions, and the process of making of diamonds were discussed.
Sawansukha Jewellers are one of the leading jwellers of Kolkata & they have been crafting timeless heirlooms for decades. Sawaansukha Institute of Gemology is the best gem and jewellery skill training and education institute in Kolkata.
A brief presentation on the different methods of cutting and how to set cut diamonds into rings and necklaces was shown. They also elaborated on the opportunities and market demands in the jewellery field. This was for all to grow their business.
It was a very enlightening session, where around 40+ participants joined in.
Event - Donation Of Clothes

Donation of clothes - Let’s close the year by doing good
This clothes donation drive was piloted by Jito Ladies Wing, in colaboration with Jito Seva. Project convener Archana Soni & co-convener Mita Mehta led the drive, in a focused & well-orderly manner.
Samkit Group has been teaching non–violence and other Jain principles to the Sarak jain community based in the tiny villages of Bengal and Jharkhand. The Saraks have been followers of Jainism since ancient times.
This underpreviledged groups were helped with useful clothes, which were donated by a big diaspora of Jain followers of Kolkata. Many donors came together in an united manner to make this programme a super successful one.
The clothes were collected, sorted in catagories, packed beautifully and dispatched to the locations. More than 60+ families have donated and it included kids', women’s and men’s wear.
This was a super successful programme, wich ended with a lot of blessings from the "Sarak" community people.
